Basics are all there, but only that

Doodle Hangman has all the basics, but it can be frustrating and disappointing
-- why only full screen mode?
-- why no reasonable way to control the sound level?
-- why no way to limit the length of words [whats the fun of playing hangman with 3 and 4 letter words?]
-- why no access to the dictionary after Ive solved the word?

I guess this is OK for a free app, but it leaves me with no inclination to buy the full version.
